Personal Life
Dr. Cripe was born in Dowagiac, his next-door neighbor and first dentist was Dr. Robert Neff. Dr. Cripe was fortunate enough to know at an early age what he wanted to be someday. The Cripe family moved to Sterling Illinois when he was in the fourth grade. However, he always felt connected to Dowagiac and knew he wanted to return and practice dentistry one day It was a privilege for him to be asked by Dr. Neff to purchase his practice, that began his career in Dowagiac. When Dr. Cripe finished his second year of dental school he married Beth. They have two grown children, Drew and Maggie, sadly in 2023 Maggie passed away from complications to Type 1 Diabetes. They also have a wonderful daughter in law Kellee, and are now expecting their first grandchild early in 2026 It has always been a passion of Dr. Cripe and Beth to volunteer in their community and to give back when and where it is needed. Dr. Cripe also has made four dental/medical mission trips to Haiti.
