When a tooth is broken and/or a filling just won't likely hold for very long, we recommend a crown, which will cover the entire tooth to the gumline and protect it from further damage.

If a tooth has had a root canal, the tooth/teeth become more dry & brittle & should be covered sooner than later to protect the remaining structures.

We make crowns in one appointment and with CEREC technology, there are no messy impressions, no temporary/resin crowns, and no need to return again weeks later, which only irritates a nerve of a tooth even more.

When a tooth is missing an option might be to replace it with a bridge. Again, with CEREC technology there are no messy impressions, but we will make temporary/resin bridge and you will need to return for the final product. In some cases, we actually make the bridges here as well.
